About Mrs. Kibler
Hello! My name is Kodi Kibler and I am thrilled to be teaching 7th grade math at O'Rourke Middle School. The 2016-2017 school year was my first full year teaching. In 2016, I earned my master’s degree in Secondary Education – Mathematics from the University of Albany.
Prior to entering the field of education, I worked as an engineer in various manufacturing and management roles for a little over 12 years. I have a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University. I chose this career change because I knew my true place was in the classroom. I have a passion for bringing the real world into the classroom and preparing our students for life after graduation. I talk a little bit more about why I teach and my career change in this video if you want to take a look!

I was born and raised in Ogdensburg, NY but my husband, Jeffrey, and I have lived in Ballston Lake for the past 13 years. We have an 8 year old daughter who is in 3rd grade. When I am not teaching I love to craft and sew!
